How much of the PCB workflow does Resin cover?
All of it: schematic capture, PCB layout and routing, components and BOM, ERC and DRC, design review, import and export, and manufacturing outputs.
What can Resin AI do?
Resin AI drafts a schematic from a description with real, purchasable parts, reads datasheets, answers questions about the open project, edits it, and runs design reviews. Every change it makes is an ordinary edit you can undo.
It is an aid, not a sign-off. AI output can be wrong in plausible-looking ways, so review a generated schematic or board the way you would review a colleague's before ordering anything.

Which import and export formats are supported?
Altium Designer, CircuitMaker, CircuitStudio, and KiCad projects import today. Eagle, OrCAD, PADS, CADSTAR, and EasyEDA are coming soon. Projects export as KiCad or Altium files, Gerber, ODB++, IPC-2581, STEP, and BOM.
Who owns project data, and can it be exported?
You do. The Terms state that you retain ownership of your design data, and you can export every project in full, as KiCad or Altium files and as fabrication outputs, at any time.
Can generated manufacturing files go directly to a supplier?
Yes. Gerber, drill, ODB++, IPC-2581, pick-and-place and BOM files are generated together from the checked board, with the names, units and origin your fab asks for.

How do teams review changes in Resin?
In the project itself. Comments, version history, diffs between revisions, and real-time collaboration all live in the same browser workspace.
What happens to my data when I use Resin AI?
Your messages and the parts of the open project needed to answer them are sent to Anthropic (default) or OpenAI under their API terms, which do not allow training on that data. Resin does not train models on your designs either, and there are no third-party analytics scripts in the app.
The security page lists every provider that touches your data and says plainly what we have not done yet: no SOC 2, no ISO 27001, no third-party penetration test. You can delete your account and everything in it from Settings.

What does Resin cost?
Every new account starts with a free 14-day Pro trial. Resin Pro is $199 USD per user per month for one user, with 1,000 monthly AI credits. Team is $149 USD per user per month for 2–5 paid users, adding shared projects, shared libraries, design reviews, and 1,000 monthly AI credits per user pooled across the workspace. Paid subscriptions are charged upfront. Your first purchase includes a seven-day money-back guarantee. Enterprise capacity and commercial terms are agreed with your team. How do I get technical help?
Email hello@resineda.com with what you expected, what happened, and your browser. Signed-in users can also send a request from the workspace with their account attached. Resin is a small team: every message is read and answered by email, with no phone line and no guaranteed response time outside an Enterprise agreement.
